Smart Home Lighting
Standard lighting can be boring. You can turn it on/off, or maybe there is a dimmer to add some variation, or a a few lamps for accent lighting, but that’s it.
Smart home lighting is a new approach altogether. It upgrades your home, adding comfort and convenience, while reducing your energy usage and increasing your home’s security.
A smart lighting solution can be a part of your smart home. will help you automating lighting scenarios according to your needs. Lights can switch on whenever someone is present in a room, or when someone enters your garden, your veranda, or approaches your entrance door.
The smart home lighting system, like everything else in our designs is not a stand alone feature. It uses other devices, sensors and actuators as well as application specific devices like smart switches hidden inside the existing light switches, and light intensity sensors to be complete. In other words you can incorporate the smart home lighting system to an existing installation as an additional capability.
Application
You don’t have to change anything at your home. We only add a smart switch behind your existing light switch and instantly this light becomes a part of any scenario you can think off.
Your smart home lighting system can take part in a scenario when someone enters your home. For example a light in your living room can warn you that someone enters your home, possibly in parallel with an audible alarm. Specific lights can switch on at the garden, the stairs, the main door, so that someone’s presence is accommodated.
At the same time, your lighting system can be used with your security system or any other automation in your smart home. For example, when someone enters, the alarm can go off along with lights at the perimeter of your home if you have set the alarm to armed. Or possibly when there is water leakage somewhere, some automated light can be used to warn you along with an audible alarm.
